The work
GRP, cured in place
A GRP roof is glass matting laid onto a prepared deck and saturated with resin, then finished with a pigmented topcoat. Because it cures as one shell there are no laps and no joints, and it bonds around upstands, kerbs and outlets rather than being dressed over them.
That makes it the covering to choose where a roof is walked on, where there are lots of penetrations, or where a balcony has to be watertight over a habitable room. It needs a dry, sound, correctly boarded deck to go onto, so preparation is most of the job.
