The work
The edge of the roof, as one job
Roofline work gets done piecemeal on a lot of houses: a new gutter screwed to a rotten fascia, or a fascia capped over without the soffit being touched. It looks better for a couple of years and then the same problems come back.
Doing it as one job means the old boards come off, the rafter feet get looked at, and new fascia, soffit and gutter go on in the correct sequence with eaves ventilation built in. The result is an edge that sheds water and lets the roof breathe.
- The old boards come off, so nothing rotten stays hidden behind new plastic.
- Eaves ventilation is built in, which most old rooflines do not have.
- Gutter falls are tested with water, not eyeballed.

How a roofline services job runs
Step 01
Measure and inspect
We check the boards, the spar ends and the gutter falls before quoting.
Step 02
Choose the finish
White, black, grey or woodgrain, and square or ogee gutter profile.
Step 03
Fit
Stripped, timbers repaired, new roofline fitted and the tiles dressed back down.
Step 04
Test the falls
Water run through the gutter to confirm it drains, then the site cleared.
